Why this program works:
1) Education about the disease process-The more knowledgeable about diabetes a person is, the better they can understand and control how their body responds to the treatment plan. Be an active participant in your own health plan!
2) A personalized meal plan-Every person has different preferences and will be more compliant with a meal plan that is right for them. At the same time, there are some very definite "good" and "bad" foods for diabetics, and it's important to know the difference.
3) Nutritional supplements or botanical treatments and IV therapy-Recent studies have shown these alternative therapies to be effective in decreasing blood pressure, lowering cholesterol, and decreasing blood sugars, thus reducing potential organ damage.
4) An ongoing monitoring and support program-A key to this diabetes
treatment program's success is the accountability factor. We all tend to stick better with programs that hold us accountable to other people. Also, as the body changes in response to the program, it is essential that medications be monitored and adjusted for the patient's well being.
Why a
"package deal"?
Dr.
Marcantel is committed to helping type 2 diabetics get control of their
symptoms. By purchasing this diabetes treatment program in an affordable
package, patients show their own commitment to their health improvement. By
attending at least six sessions with Dr. Marcantel, patients will get control of
their symptoms and learn how to keep them under control through natural means.
Many patients have reduced or even eliminated medications through the diet and
lifestyle changes they will learn in this program.
Please note:
This diabetes treatment program is offered as a "jump start" to help patients learn about
diabetes and get their symptoms under control. After six weeks on this program, the patient should experience substantial improvement in the management of type
2 diabetes symptoms. At the end of the six-week program, the patient and Dr. Marcantel will assess the current condition and progress of the patient and agree on an appropriate maintenance program.
