Maintaining a good pH balance in the body is important to your health. A more acidic state promotes diseases including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and the growth of cancer cells. A more alkaline state helps increase our immunity and prevents diseases and gives us more energy.

Some of the main foods that can cause the body to be more acidic are processed foods and sugars. You can help promote a more alkaline state in your body by eating raw foods–particularly leafy greens and other vegetables and fruits.

Drinking green smoothies is an excellent way to feed your body nutrients from raw foods. Watch the video and give it a try. You’ll be doing your body a favor.
