Full payment for services is due at the time the services are rendered, including services that may be covered by insurance.

Naturopathic medicine may be covered by some insurance plans. Check with your insurance company to determine if this is a covered benefit. Dr. Marcantel is not in-network with any insurance providers and does not submit billing claims. A superbill will be provided for you to send in to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please see our insurance information page for details.

New patient initial visit:  $275

Your initial visit will be approximately one hour long. Dr. Marcantel will cover a thorough health history from you including past medical problems, family health history, current medications or supplements you may be taking, the nature of any current health complaints, and she will do a physical exam. The purpose of this visit is to admit you to Dr. Marcantel’s health care program and to determine an appropriate next step toward achieving your health goals.

PLEASE NOTE: Because we do not double-book our appointment times, this 1-hour slot is reserved specifically for you. We require a $60 deposit to reserve your initial visit appointment time. The deposit will be applied to your balance on your first visit. If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment your deposit will be refunded in full if you give a minimum of 48 hours notice to our office.

Please see the “Your First Visit” page for a more detailed explanation of your first visit.

Established patient visits

The first follow-up appointment after admission to our services is typically a phone consultation. This allows you to speak with Dr. Marcantel from the comfort of your own home or office without having to make a trip to our clinic. A 45-60 minute appointment is usually recommended for patients who are making their first return appointment after admission. This time is needed for going over any diagnostic lab tests that may have been done and to cover the recommended protocol for care that Dr. Marcantel will discuss with you. Longer visits may also be appropriate for established  patients who have extensive lab results to cover or for patients who have not seen Dr. Marcantel for some time or have particularly challenging cases.

After the first return appointment, a typical follow-up appointment lasts from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on what needs to be addressed. Most follow-up appointments to review lab results and discuss treatment protocols or medication changes can be done through phone consultations. Phone consultations are a convenient way of having an office visit with Dr. Marcantel without having to leave your home or work.

Office visits (excluding procedures such as IV therapy or acupuncture) and phone consultations are billed at the same rate, as follows:

50-60 minute appt:  $220

35-45-minute appt:  $170

20-30-minute appt:  $120

10-15-minute appt:  $65

The length of time required for follow-up visits is dependent on the time necessary to provide the best possible ongoing treatment for the patient.

IV (intravenous) therapy:  Prices vary depending on the treatment. For example, an Adrenal Push for adrenal fatigue is $175.00. IV treatments generally take 15 minutes to administer. Please consult with our staff to find the exact price of your suggested treatment before scheduling your appointment.

B12 injection:  $20

Guided Energy Sessions  A typical Guided Energy Session last 90 minutes and the cost is $300.

Acupuncture:  $220 for a 1-hour treatment

Please inquire about the cost for other procedures offered before scheduling your appointment.

Common laboratory tests

ZRT Saliva Tests

Hormone Profile III:  $250

The Hormone Profile III tests for estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA-S, and four cortisol levels throughout the day. This is an excellent test to provide critical information necessary for determining hormonal imbalances and developing a proper treatment protocol.

Hormone Profile I:  $175

Tests for the same hormones as Profile III but includes only one cortisol level.

Food Sensitivity Panel: Pricing varies according to testing. A basic 100 Food Panel starts at $300.00.

Used for testing for food sensitivities that may be causing a variety of troublesome symptoms ranging from sinus problems to aching joints. This is different from food allergy testing because a sensitivity can be more subtle and insidious than an allergy and can be the underlying cause for a variety of health problems.

Blood tests: Blood testing is done out of our office and the prices vary depending on the types of tests ordered and your insurance coverage. We work with several cash-pay labs and will make every effort to find the best and most cost-effective fit for your needs.

Dr. Marcantel offers a wide variety of screening tests. She will discuss with you any tests that she feels may be appropriate for your health care needs. Please feel free to inquire about any testing you may be interested in.
